WHAT THE GRANT COVERS
You can receive one grant per property, with funding currently available for several low-carbon heating systems. This includes £7,500 for an air heat pump, £7,500 for a ground heat pump (including water heat pumps and systems on shared ground loops), and £5,000 for a biomass boiler. Grants are not available for hybrid heat pump systems, such as installations combining a gas boiler with an air source pump. All installed systems must meet specific standards, including minimum efficiency requirements, which your installer can advise on. The maximum eligible capacity is 45 kWh for individual systems and 300 kWh for shared ground loop systems. Erkan is a director and owner with experience in the Northeast dating back to 2001. As an apprenticeship-trained plumber and gas engineer, he specialises in boilers and gas appliances, covering faultfinding, repairs, and installations for both domestic and commercial customers.
